Exuberantly productive day today by all counts though i dwelled on only one topic in Physics, but still very much satisfying. Smashed foot appears to be recovering well, and cycling to school this morning was undertaken with little difficulty. ) but yeap. great day! circular motion has never been so nice, and changing gears on questions never so smooth, it's like a new car feeling or something (though not without the initial settling in period into the library poorly lit reading room)
Tomorrow, will undertake Geography and Chemistry. The mindmaps for Litho human preventive measures (or human intervention?), and Supranational Organizations for Global (it is, slightly annoying to compile mindmaps when your notes are in disarray and not particularly to the point). Will attempt either a morning or evening dash into the park to work off some sweat too. Tommorrow looks good already! Maybe I'll even get some Maths done or something! Chemistry have to get some mem work into organic and stuff.
Lacking in random fragments of profound statements lately. Attribute it to the lack of shooting I guess. Some part of me wants to wean off photography for a while and go for something more subtle or sublime. The other part wants to be uh, a sports photographer.
It's slightly funny how one finds themselves at crossroads occassionally in life, on whether to pursue their childhood dream, pursue something interesting, something potentially world-changing, or something that existed as the other childhood dream. Kind of kills the fun realising that Singapore will most probably never send an Astronaut into space, let alone the moon.
Art work at sec 2 level is pretty much the type of work to make you pucker your lips and wonder why is there an answer sheet for art. Worse thing is, the students are taught/urged/coerced (or maybe not, maybe its just because of wanting to pass or something) to follow it to the letter. It's kind of strange. Luckily principles in photography do apply to Van Gogh too.
John Lautner is experiencing a resurgence lately. So is government-schoolbuilding-from-the-60s-or80s- architecture. meh.
