australia first lar. though its quite lag.

went in nov,
fun.

first day:
escaped from singapore, on a qantas to brisbane. upon arrival in brisbane, went down to australia zoo, the one started by the crocodile guy, steve irwin. saw lots o f kangaroos there. got grey kangaroo, got red kangaroo, got big kangaroo, got small kangaroo. also got pregnant kangaroo.

after zoo, procceeded down to gold coast via highway. weather was suck. rain rain rain rain. big thunderstorm... jammed highway too.

second day:
second day was a trip to sea world, so so lar. but weather still quite gloomy.

third day:
dreamworld. quite nice. weather gloomy too. it seems to rain continuosly there

fourth day:
beach day!. lol.s uhm. morning started out gloomy, went for breakfast, then went for a surfing lesson in the cloudy weather... but aft the surf lesson, the sun came out :D. shiok lar. everybody like suddenly poured out onto the beach liddat. shiok. waves were beautiful too.

fifth day:
left gold coast, for moreton island. i.e the dolphin place. basically an island near brisbane, checked the weather forecast and maps. our timing seemed good, just nice go in between 2 storm systems, terrorising the queensland area. (oya, they were the worst storms in 30 years)
arrived at moreton island, took a boat there. nice place. nice beach, very quiet too. though rather commercialised relative to the last time. nth much to do, since we arrived in the afternoon, but went for a dirtbike trip. oya. there was dolphin feeding in the evening. but the waves were too high, and the cut it off halfway. in the night , horrible storm. could hear the wind whistling, rained for most of the night, went with instant noodles for dinner. storm caused quite alot of damage too, knocking down many trees, and blocking roads around the island.

sixth day:

uhm. the shiok day. partly cos my sis was burnt beyond recognition and refused to go in the sun. took the morning out and rented a kayak. (it might seem to be the lamest thing), paddled up and down the beach, and out to the wrecks, which sheltered an artificial reef, saw quite a number of nice corals, and nice fish. colorful fish. and a big ray too (think hang he).
after kayak, the sis came out, and we got a small boat rented, plus a fishing rod and bait... went out to the wrecks to fish. nice too, but no luck hooking any fishes
back from the wrecks, went for a sandboarding trip, (there's a desert in the island). after sandboarding, went out for fishing again, this time at the jetty, lots of fishes there too. managed to hook one fish up... some silvery greyish fish. which happened to have spines along the fins....(discovered that the hard way)...

in the evening there was dolphin feeding again_ the waves were fine this time, with the dolphins coming up close to the beach to feed, so basically, you went waist deep into the water, fish in hand, dolphin comes to you, and eats fish from your hand. took a video of it.

last day:

emm. last day. woke up early to see the sun come up. half succeded. woke up, sky was dark, closed eyes, sky was greyish, went out to balcony to sit, and snoozed abit. went out when i woke again, mostly morning by then, up and down the beach...

damn i lost mood to blog. nvm. till i find inspiration again. driven by extreme boredom
