After a glorious service with the "united states of Kendrick" fuffiling an estimated period of 6 years of srevice, (est. yr2000--present) the black wallet of mine has been decommisioned and retired from service. It has been officially been replaced by the newest addition of wallets in my inventory. the "black wallet" shall coninue to serve in a cermonial role and shall not be disposed of. in spite of its hounary discharge from service.

I admit i am bored.
finally. i am back from hongkong. after a nice 7.25 days there, thank goodness it wasnt raining most of the time :) but but rather cloudy. i really feel sad for those ppl that have left for hongkong in the past few days, (12-15 dec) cos it has been predicted that the next few days would be rainy.
but if you are going hongkong, there are a couple of nice places, other than the theme parks and such.
1) there is a very nice display @ central MTR station. (christmas display)

2) Kowloon park :D my fave place , a park in kowloon with shopping areas around it. it has a hjuge palyground, a parrot park. a aviary and a number of lovely gardens
points of inteerst: it's free :D
3) noodle shop at one end of portland street (cant remember which end)
a noodle shop offering great noodles at cheap prices. (half of my dinners were eaten there) open practically 24 hours.
4) Ladies market. #1 place to get branded stuff and watches. (genuinity is not garunteed) going for low prices. many nice things to buy there. watch out for cops and crowds. in addition there is a nice dessert shop at the end :)
5) Gigantic buddha . The name says it all. a big budhha at the top of a hill . on LAntau island. nice place in the temple serving vege food.
notes: beware of stray dogs and strong winds. and crazy tourists.
appropriate footwear is reccomended.
Points of interest: in some places, lantau island is misspelled as "lan4 dao3" meaning "rotten island"
reccomended to bring camera and to go early

now about myself. when the aircraft had landed, (SQ01) b747 megatop. i sighted an antonov 124 . a big mother of a aircraft. cahngi being ratehr empty.
